Export promotion

To apply for export support fill out and e-mail the Application for export support.

What is export promoting support?
Following the mandate from Parliament and the Government FXM can provide support to Swedish companies in the defence sector – provided that there is a benefit for the Swedish Armed Forces (read more below under Assessment Criteria). The promotion also includes the export of military technology for civilian applications.

FXM plays a coordinating role among the defence authorities and the support could mean tasking other agencies to rent out test facilities and equipment or to train foreign pilots and crews within Government to Government contracts.

Small and Medium sized Enterprises
FXM is committed to supporting Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME), among other things because they are important suppliers to the large materiel systems. If you want to learn more about opportunities for SMEs to seek support, contact Shervin Rashedi, SME Manager. E-mail according to the principle firstname.lastname@ fxm.se or call switchboard at +46 8 587 133 00.

Assessment criteria
The overall aim of FXM’s promotion is that it will help to maintain and develop industrial capabilities which are of  strategic importance for the Swedish defence. This means that the promotion should primarily be linked to the Swedish military’s long-term supply of equipment. A requirement for support is that the promotion has a traceability to the Swedish defence benefit.

One basic prerequisite for FXM’s promotion is also that there is a permit from the Swedish Agency for Non-Proliferation and Export Controls(ISP), which acts as a preliminary approval to export to a country of a given product.
